Best short(ish) haircut for a bigger woman/rounder face?

I really need to cut this hair off. It’s all the way down my back and as dead as dead can be. I have never had any style to my hair whatsoever. Just very long, no angles or layers or what have you. I would like something a bit edgy, and sort of sassy. But I would really like it to be flattering to me, and I realize the difficulty given that I’m heavy. I don’t want it TOO short. Just maybe to rest on my shoulders? I don’t know. What style would you rec commend?

Chop it just above your shoulders so that it will move and swing. If you like it, then you can cut it just to below your chin, and get it cut back every time it gets to your shoulders.

If you want something edgier, have it angled so that the front is just above your shoulders and the back is shorter.
