Short Straight Hairstyles For Women 2010

How would I get my hair like this?
Is it twisted a certain way? Cut short?

My hair’s fairly medium length when straightened, about to the shoulders, but I’m tired of wearing it straight down with ugly bangs. I’ve had it in braids for a while, and I was wondering if this would require cutting it.
Honey, that is a straw set on short natural black hair. Twists do not produce flat, shiny curls like that. I’m not sure the exact tools for that but you’d have to consult with a natural hair stylist about it. Regular salons couldn’t do that on natural hair.
