Punk/Indie Haircuts?

Some punkish or indieish haircuts would be nice. Nothing scene though, and I don’t dye/bleach my hair. I have longish (6 inches past my shoulders) hair. It’s curly/wavy (curly when it’s long, wavy when it gets past a few inches) and VERY thick (like, I could never spike it when it was short because there was just so much of it. I want a haircut that it short and kind of punky or offbeat. I can deal with a few inches and maybe even down to my shoulders if it’s a good one.
