Hair extensions for short hair?please help me! ?

My hairstylist was an idiot and cut basically all of my hair off!
my mom is insisting it looks fine but 6 people thought when i was turned around i looked like a guy!
my mom wont by me extensions and i don’t have alot of money to buy 300 dollar extensions.
or get them done professionally but i cant have my hair look like this! here is a picture of my haircut. Btw my hair was to my low back and look at it now:( im not used to my hair this short! i cant keep it like this !
