Cute short haircuts for thick, wavy hair?

I have very thick, semi-wavy, poofy hair. my mom is making me cut it short even though i’ve begged her not to. she says if i don’t pick a style she will pick one for me. i can’t find one i like! none of them seem to suit my hair! i have searched everywhere. i need one, fast, before she kills my hair. it has to be shoulder length or shorter. any suggestions?

shoulder length hair with layers at the very bottom would be adorable but I would straighten them if i were you cause if you dont wavy hair will become kinda puffy when its cut short. FHI straighteners are pretty good cause they dont damage your hair especially if you use a heat protectant. And really suttle highlights would look adorable too
