Cutting It Short

short haircut for a round face?

i have a round face & thick wavy hair. i’ve wanted to cut my hair in a short layered cut but every hairdresser i go to strongly advises me against it, saying that it’ll make my face look even rounder. however, i’m bored of long hair, & wanna try a short cut. any suggestions of short cuts that look good on round faces (taking into account that i have thick wavy hair)? feel free to describe them, show photos etc

You could go for a short bob that is angled up in the back and has side fringe bangs. Make sure that the front sides are just a little bit longer than your chin, so it doesn’t make your face look wider. It’s an easy to take care of hairstyle and works for straight or curly hair.
