Why do guys think long hair on girls is hotter then short hair?

im a 15 year old guy and all my friends always look at the long haired girls. And if i point out a really hot girl with a shoulder length to as short as a bob cut they are like oh shes ugly look at her hair

is it only me or do other guys not think shes hot even with short hair?

Also girls do u agree?

Guys like girls with long hair because they want to grasp it or run their hands through it while making out and whatever. but girls with shorter hair also can look hot and your friends probably are just wrongly biased. oh and long hair can make a girl appear hotter because the movement of sight will travel from her face and down the most basic line (aka her hair) and will travel over more of her body if the hair is longer
