Haircut Advice: How Short Can I Go With A Round Face?

I have a round face and very fine hair. So, because my face is round I am afraid to go short with my hair, but because my hair is so fine the more length it has the less volume it has. It’s just lays flat. Right now it’s just past my shoulders and it’s OK volume wise, but I found this way cute haircut I like that’s about an inch below the jaw line. Can I pull that off with my round face or will it just make me have a fat face?
