Can I sue my hairdresser for the worst haircut ever *pics*?

I went to the hairdresser today and I said I wanted a full fringe and for the cut to be kept long, the hairdresser told me h’d like to undercut a bit to take some of the heaviness away and leave the length on top.

I was a bit reluctant and told him but he said its okay trust me. For most of the cut my hair was sectioned away and I was unaware what he was doing. At the end he showed me and I nearly burst into tears.. my long hair has be hacked away and what I have now can not be described as a style. It is too short at the back to be cut into any sort of style so I am having to pay for hair extensions (upward of £200) until my hair is longer enough to grow out so it can be styled. I did not agree to this. Can I sue the company (vidal sassoon) for wrecking my hair and the cost of the extensions? Im in the UK by the way so need to know uk law.
