Cutting It Short

Short hair at prom??

So I used to have super long hair, but I cut it off to a short inverted bob. Then I realized.. uhoh.. PROM! So now its about down to my shoulders, but its still hard to find much to do with it for prom. I had a little mishap with a hairdresser. I have a big chunk of hair missing on my bottom layers near my ear. Uhh.. yeah. You can’t tell, but I can’t just pull half of it up or else i look bald on one side. So it’s either all down, or all up. If I curl it with a curlin iron it looks like a fro. Maybe a smaller curling iron? I dunno! Any help is good. Thanks!
