How do you style short hair into the large loopy curls?

I have seen Christina Aguilara, Gwen Stefani, and Dita Von Teese where this style. It reminds me of old movie stars. My hair is cut short but is long and layered on top.

You could try a curling iron or hot rollers. I would try hot rollers first because it doesn’t damage your hair as bad as a curling iron.
