Ideas for graduation hair ?!?

i have naturally straight black hair (im filipino) and i have no idea how to do my hair for my grade 8 graduation. I don’t want to go to a salon to get it done cause i don’t think this is that huge.. and i don’t see any point in spending tons of money on it especially when i have a perfectly good curler at home and short hair.

I was thinking of doing my hair in a kinda half up half down style … with two pieces of hair on the side of my head twisted back and clipped … like this

but side parted and with my bangs.

any ideas .. or comments about the style?

i think the style would go really well with a sun dress, and it would be great if your graduation is really simple/casual.

if you’re going to a more formal graduation, you want to have a more defined look. If you like the braid idea, you can try side braiding your bangs, and then try adding a few curls to your hair with a 1 inch curling iron like this:

If you want something simple, try just curling your hair into spiral curls with a 3/4 inch curling iron like this:
