How To Style Mens Short Curly Hair?

I have really crap hair.lol. I have to cut it short all the time because when it grows, it goes wavy/curly and gel doesnt seem to have much use. Is there a product I should be using or is there a certain way I should be styling my hair?

u dont really need to style it. its already curly (style)
if gel doesnt work, then u dont need anything.
maybe just spray it with leave in conditioner or hair spray. but if u do that u’ll probably smell bad.
i’d say if u dont like ur hair, change shampoos (or consider a conditioner)
