how to create a faux bob/make hair look short without cutting it?

my hair is long and curly, but i want it to be kinda short and straight but still thick-looking
can i straighten my hair, and then put it up? i also don’t want it too short, just kinda “pageboy” looking haircut. like a little below my ears. i might get bangs too.

You straighten your hair and then fold your hair underneath and fasten it with a large barrette. I suggest using a smoothing product and heat protectant before you straighten your hair. I did this with my sister’s hair.
