Layered Bob Haircut For Fine Hair
by Claire on Sep.04, 2009, under Short Hair Bob
What hairstyle to choose and what to tell my hairdresser?
I have an oval face. My hair is fine, straight and long, and it’s all the same length. I think I want to get it layered, but I want to keep it mostly long and to avoid short bangs as much as possible. I know there are different types of layered hairstyles, and I don’t know which is which. I know I don’t want the Rhianna bob.
Here are some styles I would like for my hair:

Any idea what kind of style it is I’m looking for? What should I tell my hairstyle?
The best way to convey what you want is to bring all three of those pictures in and tell your stylist what you like about each picture and how you would like it done on your hair. Your stylist should be able to take into consideration your face shape, hair type, styling methods etc. So don’t worry about using the correct terminology, heck I can’t remember it all either!
If your stylist cuts it and you don’t like it make sure you don’t pay for it until you do approve of it!!
I know the last one sounds mean but I would rather have my clients tell me what they don’t like before they leave. I do give them a week to try it out and style it at home, if they don’t like it I change it no questions asked.
Good luck!
