What kind of bob would look right with my hair?

I really want a bob! But I have layers and bangs so I don’t know how that would work. My stylist said “he can’t do it.” Yeah, I got really pissed and I just thought I’m paying for it! So I’m planning a trip back to him and I need someone to tell me about all the different types of bobs out there. I really love Paris Hilton’s, but again I don’t know what would work with it.

When your hairdresser says “he can’t do it” does he mean he physically can’t do it (like he was sick the day they covered the bob in hairdressing school), or does he mean he doesn’t think it would look good with your face shape/hair type. If that is the case, he should justify why it wouldn’t work for you. Sometimes they get really opinionated about what they think sombody else’s hair should look like they loose track of the fact that they have a customer who is paying for a service, not to be treated like a child and told how they will wear their hair. Sometimes, they are wary of changing someone’s hairstyle too drastically because they are afraid they will not be happy with it.
