Bob Haircuts With Bangs 2010

How do I get my bangs/fringe to look like this?

My bangs sit just above my nose when straight, but they’re naturally wavy so I have to straighten them. I’ve tried to get my bangs like this by using the flat iron to ‘flip’ my hair in to make it look more ’round’ and then sweep it to the side, but it never works and it ends up becoming a part and starts getting piece-y, I’ve tried using wax and hairspray but it makes my hair greasy and hard. Please, please, please teach me how to get these bangs! Thanks in advance.
My daughter is a hairdresser and she tells me that people’s hair is just different and without going to a hairdresser and spending lots of money it just may not be possible for you to get exactly what you want by doing stuff at home. But it really needs a hairdresser to see you and tell you what is and what isn’t possible with your hair. Remember also that those pics you put up are models and they have hairdressers fixing their hair and even then it will not stay exactly as it appears in the photo for very long.
