Cutting It Short

Would you be offended if someone said this about your new shorter haircut?

I got the Victoria Beckham stacked bob – short in back, longer on the sides. Two coworkers said to me today, “Don’t worry, it will grow back.” I had to tell them I wanted it to be cut short! One coworker actually laughed at my hair and said, “I like long hair” then told everyone to come look at my new hair cut. I’m 29 BTW, and they are all over 45.

Women who are insecure hold onto their hair, they associate long hair with strength, which is who so many women won’t part with it, or cry when they get their hair cut. They can’t imagine cutting it off and think that they will loose their identity as women, even though they are actually just blending in. I know that that sounds strange, but women have a strong psychological bond to their hair. This is why strong women, like Pink, Victoria Beckham, and Kelly Osborne cut their hair short. They, and you, are strong women, you don’t need long hair to be strong. Yes, this does sound strange, I know, but it’s true!
