How can I convince my parents to let me cut my hair?

My parents have always liked long hair especially on me. Im going to be going in to junior high next year. (they count elementary at my school kinder-6) I really just want to change up my look and reinvent myself. Right nw my hair is just above my boobs.I want to cut it like Chelsea Staubs new short bob haircut my parents say no. My mom even started yelling at me about it this morning. I didn’t yell back all i said was can you guys at least think about it. Any ideas from moms and parents about ow your child could convince you to let them cut their hair short. P.S. I have already tried telling them that its my hair and blah,blah,blah. Anything helps thankyou!:]

Don’t cut it short. Like, maybe get some layers but short hair takes a while to style (or else it’ll look like a mess!) while long hair can be “washed and worn.”

Plus long hair is considered universally much more pretty and feminine
