How to have one colored streak like in Avril Lavigne’s hair?

I have black long hair, I want to add such drama in my hair. How and which color should I go for?

Go with pink, red, or blue. They look the best on black hair.
I suggest going to a hairdresser’s because black hair is very difficult to dye over unless you have professional dye.
p.s. it’s not all that cool to copy celebrities. Just FYI. =)
